Caroline Ogg

Caroline Ogg has been sewing since she was 5. In college she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, doing work in textiles as well as jewelry and drawing. Her graduate work in Home Economics added pattern draping and drafting to the dying, spinning, and weaving she had begun as an undergraduate. A love of needlework inspired her to do embroidery and needlepoint, crochet and knitting, mostly of her own design. After years of doing soft sculpture, dolls, and piecework sewing, she was inspired by landscapes quilts at the International Quilt Show in Houston. Currently, most of her work is landscape or pictorial, although she enjoys creating tote bags, purses, and other vessels.
