Bonnie Smith

Bonnie Smith went to Indiana Central University to study theater design and stage production. She found the theater fascinating, but couldn't really see where that might take her in her community. By chance, she met her husband and raising their two enterprising daughters was a priority for years.
After a life changing injury, she started sewing again as a source of inner therapy. Bonnie embarked on the world of quilting with the intention of making a few heirloom quilts for family and friends. She evolved into a contemporary and abstract artist, which really filled a space for her. She finds great satisfaction in making art quilts and feels she is just beginning her journey !
